National Chocolate Ice Cream Day

It’s National Chocolate Ice Cream Day!
Today, we celebrate one of the most popular ice cream flavors of all time.
Culinary historians believe that the first ice cream flavors were fruit-based.
But by the 18th century both vanilla and chocolate were quite common.

Vanilla might be the most-popular flavor
but chocolate wins the award for being invented first.
Italians froze hot chocolate in 1692 and the flavor was born.

A couple of days ago,
I posted a recipe of a
Mint Chocolate Milkshake.
If you missed it,

So for a guilt-free Chocolate Ice Cream,
I just made it again & froze it.
You can skip the mint part if you fancy the pure chocolate goodness.

Enjoy and Happy National Chocolate Ice Cream Day!

Love,
